2008 中国（太原）国际煤炭与能源新产业博览会高峰论坛将于 2008 年 9 月 16 日 至 17 日在太原举行。本次论坛是由山西省人民政府、中华人民共和国商务部、中华人民共和国科技部主办、山西省科技厅牵头并会同省直有关部门承办的煤炭能源领域的论坛盛会。
论坛主题将紧密围绕“ 21 世纪煤炭·能源·环境·和谐发展”，以科学发展观为统领， 以高起点、高层次、高水平的高新技术和新商务知识集成交流为目标，通过国际间、省际间煤炭 · 能源新产业与环境和谐发展的知识交流，进一步提高山西省在国内外的影响力，为我国乃至全球煤炭、能源与环境的和谐发展起到积极的推动作用。

Summit Forum of China (Taiyuan) International Coal & Energy New Industry Expo 2008, the grand symposium on coal and energy industry, sponsored by the People's Government of Shanxi Province , the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, organized by Shanxi Science and Technology Department and other relevant departments directly under Shanxi Provincial People's Government, shall be held in Taiyuan from September 16 th to 17 th 2008.
The theme of this Summit Forum is to focus on “Coal, Energy, Environment and Harmonious Development in the 21 st Century”, follow the guidance of the Scientific Outlook on Development, aim at interactive and integrated exchange of high and new technologies and new business knowledge, further enhance Shanxi's influence both at home and abroad by the means of international and inter-provincial exchange of knowledge on harmonious development of coal and energy new industry and environment and play a positive role in promoting China's and world's harmonious development of coal, energy and environment.
